Print Uchida Champions League record for Japan

Foonie.com - Metrotvnews.com, Gelsenkirchen: Schalke 04 defender Atsuto Uchida create his own record in the history of football. He became the first Japanese player to qualify for the Champions League semi-final.
German Bundesliga team Schalke will face English giants Manchester United in the last four major inter-European club competition after beating title holders Inter Milan 2-1 to eliminate the defending champions with a 7-3 aggregate victory.

If there was no obstacle, Uchida (23), apparently will get a role as an opener in the farm team players Ralf Rangnick in the first semi-final match between 26 or 27 so far this April after nine of 10 games played Schalke in the European competitions.
Former Schalke coach Felix Magath Uchida of Kashima Antlers contract worth 1.4 million euros. And Rangnick only able to give words of praise for him.
"I've known him for three and a half weeks but so far it makes me very impressed," said Rangnick, who took over the task of Magath last month.
Uchida, who became part of the Japanese team that won the Asian Cup, showed near perfect performance against Inter. "He is still young but very mature, very fast and he can go far," said the coach.
In the semifinals he will appear before United's players to deal with South Korean Park Ji-sung, who scored United's winning goal in Chelsea's second leg match on Tuesday, which ended 2-1.
Park is one of only two players from Asia who has won the European trophy, after winning the Champions League with United in 2008, with compatriot Cha Bum-kun who won the UEFA Cup with Frankfurt in 1980 and in 1988 with Bayer Leverkusen. (Ant / *)
